Hi Sara,

thanks for your article. I'm the developer of Mr. Reader and just found your post while "curating" Mr. Reader news by using scoop.it.

The reason why it does not have the "Share with Note" feature is simple: I never shared a article with a note. :-( But it is already on my TODO list and coming. As you mentioned above, Mr. Reader is available on the App Store since 5 months, and it's nearly impossible to integrate "everything" in this short time.

Best,
Oliver

P.S. The next update is currently in beta test and gets uploaded for review by Apple in the next few days.

Thanks for this -- I'm a big Google Reader / Diigo user myself, and this was exactly what I needed. Looks like I'll be picking up Mr. Reader. :)

How many of these (if any) are iPad only?

I love my ebooks...but also want the lowest price. Buying serial novels depends on writer and price. I would vary between reading chapters and saving for the whole novel. The difference is portability, space A on my book shelves, sharing with family online (husband overseas) and ease of acquiring online. Smaller towns do not have the greatest selection of traditional books. Some of my books are on my iPhone, laptop, iPad, and desktop. Great article, Sar!!
